  • Alex Duncan

    CREATOR / KYLE

    Alex grew up in Tasmania, in Hobart, and in a tiny town south of Hobart called Lucaston. He moved to Melbourne to study acting at VCA and screenwriting at RMIT. He’s worked as an actor across television and theatre in Melbourne, Sydney and Tasmania, and as script coordinator on shows for Netflix, ABC and Channel Ten and he lives in Seddon with his husband Mike. He has never seen a UFO.

  • Cléa Frost

    PRODUCER

    Cléa is an award-winning writer, producer and story developer who has worked in Australia, Asia and the U.S. across film, TV, webseries, games, VR and audio drama. Hovering was produced under her Plot Twist label: www.plottwist.au

  • Melissa May

    SOUND DESIGNER / MIXER

    Melissa is a freelance sound designer and audio engineer after a 20-year career with ABC Radio National. With a passion for storytelling, her work includes radio features, documentaries and dramas for Radio National, podcasts for Swinburne and Monash Universities, the Museum of Far North Queensland as well as several independent producers.

  • Audrey Vixen

    COMPOSER

    Hailing from Melbourne, the style of Trent Anthony Francis - aka Audrey Vixen - is anything but conventional, melding cinematic electronic music and experimental digital art.
    Drawing inspiration from visionary figures like The Future Sound of London, Tracey Emin, Aphex Twin, Alberto Vargas, and Nine Inch Nails; Trent carves his own path under the Audrey Vixen moniker. Through his distinctive fusion of dark, ambient soundscapes and apocalyptic beats, his work has graced global labels such as Sony, Nuform, WEATNU, and Sonaris. Notably, he also curates his own independent imprints, namely Music For The Doomed Generation and Charlotte Sinner.

  • Shayne Francis

    GLENDA

    Shayne is a WAAPA grad from the 80’s and has enjoyed a long and chequered career in mainstream and independent theatre in Sydney, Melbourne and national touring as well as in a line up of Oz TV including Home and Away, Water Rats, Police Rescue, Blue Heelers, Wildside and Fireflies. Shayne is also an executive coach, presence facilitator and loop captain.

  • Lily Fish

    TOBY

    Lily Fish is a Naarm based performer and maker. They are a founding member of PO PO MO CO, The Wholesome Hour and BEEF. Their recent projects include Rakali with Alex Duncan, Polite Mammals with The Wholesome Hour, and The Velveteen Rabbit with Born in a Taxi. Their solo red nose clown show Jofus and the Plank won Best Solo at New Zealand Fringe and Best Physical Theatre at Fringe at the Edge. Their play Yarn is available through PlayLab.

  • John Marc Desengano

    LEO

    John Marc Desengano is an Actor, Improviser and educator and has collected many theatre and television credits. John Marc attained his Masters of Primary Teaching in 2015 and is currently the Co-Artistic Director of Western Edge. He is also an improviser with Impro Melbourne and Soothplayers: Completely Improvised Shakespeare.

  • Artemis Ioannides

    TENILLE

    Artemis Ioannides is a bilingual artist working between Melbourne and Athens across stage and screen. Credits include Wentworth, The Beautiful Lie, Because The Night (Malthouse), Pomona (Red Stitch). She's had three Green Room Award nominations including Best Female Performer (2015). Recently she made her Greek television debut as a lead in drama Glykanisos.

  • Margot Morales

    HAZEL

    Margot Morales is a writer, performer, and director. They won the 2023 Green Room Award for Best Writing in Cabaret for their show In the Likely Event of Forever, and is currently directing Anna Piper Scott’s An Evening with JK for Melbourne Fringe. Margot has been nominated for the Golden Gibbo at the 2019 Melbourne International Comedy Festival and is currently an Artistic Associate at Melbourne Theatre Company.

  • Maude Davey

    FERN

    Maude Davey is an actor and director. Her primary focus is the creation of new work, particularly Cabaret and Variety Performance. Recent credits include Gender Euphoria (Director/Producer) in Sydney for WorldPride and Melbourne. Acting includes Blessed Union by Maeve Marsden at Belvoir Street; Set Piece by Anna Breckon/Nat Randall.

  • Tariro Mavondo

    IMOGEN

    Tariro Mavondo is a multi-talented artist, facilitator, and advocate. With a diverse body of work spanning acting, performance poetry, writing, and more, Tariro is the former CEO/ co-Artistic Director of Western Edge Youth Arts, where she provided a platform for young people to tell their own stories and develop creative agency. Currently, Tariro is launching the Griots Corner, an online creative hub for artists, fostering community and artistic growth.

  • Simon Corfield

    RUPERT

    Simon is a graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (Acting). He has garnered rave reviews in theatre productions for Melbourne Theatre Company, Belvoir St Theatre, Darlinghurst Theatre Company, Griffin Theatre Company, Tamarama Rock Surfers and more. Simon is a founding member of the award winning performance group, SandS through the hourglass, for which he wrote, designed, performed and produced every show and installation. His TV and film credits include Diary of an Uber Driver, Neighbours, Packed To The Rafters, COPS: L.A.C., Crownies, Darwin’s Brave New World and Blue Heelers.

  • Veronica Thomas

    JANICE / DOLORES

    Veronica has been an avid performer since the age of 7. She furthered her skills at The VCA and has since been working in radio, film and TV. She has performed with Red Stitch, Victorian Theatre company, She Said Theatre amongst others. Some of her recent film/TV credits include Neighbours, The Dr Blake Murder Mysteries, How To Talk Australian and Ride Like A Girl.

  • Brianagh Curran

    COLLEEN / SOPHIE

    Brianagh is a Melbourne based actor and writer. She completed her Bachelor of Dramatic Arts from the Victorian College of the Arts in 2013. At the core of her practice is to engage a diverse audience in new Australian plays Brianagh breaks stylistic boundaries, challenging stigmas on mental health diagnosis, gender, and sexuality.

  • Jules Stephens

    SHARON

    Jules has always been creative and graduated from a combined film and drama degree in 2006. She worked in production design, tv hosting and made a number of music videos before moving to teaching in 2010. She is now able to fulfill her creativity by inspiring the young creatives of tomorrow teaching Media and Drama.

  • Lucy Lovegrove

    LINDA

    Lucy Lovegrove is a screen and theatre actor. She recently reprised her breakout role of ‘Sass Connelly’ on New Zealand’s longest-running hospital drama, Shortland Street, for which she was core cast from 2016-2019. Since then, Lucy has appeared on Apple TV series Playing for Keeps, comedy series Mr Black and American-Filipino crime drama Almost Paradise.

  • Caitlin Spears

    DEIRDRE

    Caitlin graduated the VCA with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Music Theatre). Most recently, Caitlin was seen as the Standby for the role of Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray for CrossRoads Live. Additional credits include Brigadoon (TPC), Much Ado About Nothing, Romeo and Juliet (China Tour), Rolling Thunder Vietnam (Australian Tour), Rossini’s La Cenerentola, The Girlie Show, Harvey Milk the Opera, Everything’s Coming Up Sondheim, Music of the Night, Cactus & Mime (Short Film) and Purgastory.

  • Aaron Walton

    NATHAN / GRAHAM WITH AN ‘H’

    Aaron graduated from the VCA, where he received the Beleura John Tallis Award for Excellence in Acting. Credits include the antagonist in Australia’s first one-shot feature film, Watch The Sunset streaming on Stan. Aaron is also a practicing psychologist and a PhD candidate at Melbourne University researching free will and wellbeing.
